Yes, you have my permission to publish this story. After all, I was helped with my stuttering, so if what I wrote might encourage or assist others, I'm more than glad to give permission for your magazine to publish the story. Should you want, I do have some B/W photos from that era with my actually narrating (or preparing to do so) an air show as well as color photos of the Team peforming (no negatives of any of these, sorry.) Additionally, Judy -- for space considerations -- took out two humorous events that I had related. I had put them in originally to offset the "wonder-kid" element of the story -- but more importantly, to let the reader realize that even for facile speakers, everything can and DOES go wrong. I can send you the original story (with a few more edits: writers never stop editing) along with those two vignettes and then YOU can decide what you leave in/take out. BTW: We often admired the Canadian aerobatic flight team, the "Snowbirds." I'll send you this same message via the e/ddress that you gave for any further coordination. I only ask that should you use the photos, that you credit them ("U.S. Army Photo taken by...etc.") and forward some issues of the magazine should you decide to use the story. Thanks for your inquiry.
