Howard,
How scary that must have been to be told you would have to do something that was the most difficult thing for you. But you did it and it seems like you did it well.
I have an adolescent stutterer in our clinic who applied to get into the service and was turned down because of his suttering. What do you think of that. We did write a letter of appeal, but they denied him anyway. He is in therapy now and is working on his fears.
