Thank you for sharing your story with us. As a clinician who works with children who stutter this article was a wonderful reminder that "therapy" needs to incorporate much more than just the communication disorder. External factors and a persons environment and daily life routines are just as important in going ahead with an effective treatment plan. Many therapist who only have a limited amount of time each week with their clients often get caught up in how to help the type of dysfluency and secondary characteristics they see in the therapy room without learning more in detail about a person's life. You story for me was a wonderful reminder. Thank you.
