One thing though: I am not comfortable with the idea of 'controlling' one's stutter. It seems to me that any form of control sooner or later mutates/degenerates into yet another secondary behaviour. It's the mindset of the PWS which needs to be addressed, not the speech.. :o)
(IMO) SLP's would do well to concentrate on peeling off the layers of secondary behaviour build up (eg avoidance, foot tapping etc).
