It is good to hear that humor is okay in therpy. I am a graduate student, and think that many new clinicians (myself included), aren't sure when it is okay to laugh. I was going to ask you if clincians should wait for the client to initiate humor or if you at some point the clincian could do it. Reading your responses to the previous questions, however, it appears that it all depends on the client and how comfortable you are with one another. Is there a way you could introduce humor to a client who finds no humor in the situation, without offending? Thank you
