I am a graduate student in speech pathology and have been taking a fluency disorders course this semester. The importance of a counseling element in stuttering therapy has come up frequently in class discussions and lectures. In your opinion, what are some ways or strategies a speech language pathologist can provide support and aid in therapy to clients who stutter in their internal struggle with a fluency disorder.
