Hi Jenny, No, you certainly didn't come across as brash. I hope my response didn't suggest that either ;-) I just felt that there are others within this online conference who would better qualified to answer some of the points you raised. You mention that you stuttered (for a short time) at the age of 4. As you are probably aware, it is quite common for children of that age to display some dysfluency. I'm sure I've read that 5% of children under the age of 5 will go through a phase of stuttering at some stage of the speech and language development. It must have been a real challenge as the youngest of 7 children. I recall that I had difficulty when playing the card game 'Snap'. My brother and sister always won because I used to get stuck on the initial letter 'S'. By the time I'd said "Ssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssnap", it was too late ;-) Thank you, once again, for taking the time to contribute. Kindest regards Alan
