Thankyou for such an informative article. I thought an important point mentioned in the article had to do with the barriers that can prevent clients from self exploration. I agree that as clinicians we often want to give advice, and "fix" problems. It was a great reminder that clinician/counselors must remember that our job is to empower the parents/clients to be active participants in helping themselves and/or their families so that change can occur. Thanks again for all of the great information and resources.
