Thank you for your inspirational story. I have never been to Burkina Faso, but did visit Ghana two years ago. It was a beautiful and unforgettable experience. Your words of wisdom ring true for any person, regardless of the country in which they live. I am not a person who stutters, but I have been learning about what life is like for people who stutter. Your words and those of others have really been wonderful lessons for me, not just as a clinician, but as a person living with different people. You must accept others for who they are, not who you want them to be. Also, I have been forced to look at my own biases and thoughts about what people should look like, speak and act and have been going through the very painful but enlightening experience of shedding those thoughts and learning to accept people for who they are. Thank you for being one of my teachers, and I hope to visit your country very soon!
