I am a student studying to become a speech-language pathologist. I have read several presentations from this conference, and I have found yours to be the most enlightening. I found it especially helpful for me, as a future SLP to see the parent's point of view. I understand how frustrating it must have been to be left in the dark. A presentation that you may find interesting from this conference is "Treating Preschoolers Who Stutter - Solutions Within A Publicly Funded Program" by Marlene Green. It is about a workshop done for the parents of stutterers in Canada. This seems like the perfect type of program to have so that parents of stutterers will not end up in the same situation that you did. Thank you for speaking your mind!
