You know, once you see the positive results of fuhgeddingaboutit in regard to stuttering, you do tend to apply the same logic to other aspects of living. Worrying and making yourself miserable about stuttering didn't help. Forgetting it did. Perhaps you should take the same "don't care" or "care less" approach to other daily trials and tribulations. To quote the article's starting quote: "We would worry less about what others think of us if we knew how rarely they did." We all know of instances in our lives where the same logic applies. Adopting the fugheddaboutit approach to different areas of my life has been a godsend. Try it. Fix what you can fix - don't dwell on what you can't.
