Hi, Brendan O' Carroll is my name and i have had a stammer for 20 odd years of my life.I always remember something a good friend of my family said to me when i was about 5 or 6.He said to me " There is nothing wrong with the way you speak and don't let anybody tell you any different" and he said most importantly "You only have a loan of a stammer its not for keeps at all". Since i became a member of the Mcguire Programme nearly 8 months ago now i my stammer has been slowly going away and it is becoming less and less of a problem.So that friend of the family who said that to me all those years ago was right.My loan perod is almost up!!!!!
