Sorry - I didn't answer your question about my life changing. Yes, in some ways it has changed. When I was younger my stutter was a HUGE issue for me - but that's less the case now. Simply deciding to stop hiding it, to be open about it, has been a liberating thing. And also as I've got older, seen both my parents die etc. I've gained a more sane perspective on Life. I've come to see that having a speech problem really isn't that big a deal in the grand scheme of things. I just wish I'd understood that forty years ago. It would have saved an awful lot of misery and self-hatred. John
