WOW!! What a powerful message you are sending. I am a senior and I will be graduating in May with a degree in Early Childhood. The message you sent in your story is one that I am hopeful I will send to every student that enters my classroom. Children need to be free to be themselves. This world has everything to offer them and they should not let anything, stuttering included, hold them back. Though this message seems as if it would be easy to send, it is not. Children are often times made to feel ashamed or restricted about who they really are, or who they wish to become. All children need to be told that they can become whatever they want to be! They have so much potential to succeed at whatever their dreams are! I want to say thank you for sharing your story...it has made a huge impact on me, and hopefully will continue to impact the children in my classroom. Thank you!
