I enjoyed reading your paper. Your bio alone is proof that stuttering doesn't have to stand in ones way to success. And, like others who have posted comments, I think the exercise you use in your class is very clever. I'm curious as to whether you discuss stuttering in your classes on disabilities? Whenever I interviewed for jobs I always thought that my stutter might automatically disqualify me, so as dishonest as it might seem, I tried to hide it as much as possible. But, whenever an employer eventually found out about my speech (after being hired), they were always very understandng, which makes me wonder how much of a role fluency plays in hiring decisions. Have you found a need to educate business people on how to see past a person's stutter? Thank you again for your paper, and I hope these questions aren't too off-topic. Sophie
