Hi Louis. I am currently a graduate student at West Virginia University studying to become a speech therapist. After reading your story, I was just wondering if you had any ideas on what to say or do to help students that stutter deal with other students' comments. Do you have any suggestions on how to keep the other students from making those comments? In one of my classes, my teacher mentioned setting up a reward system for the other students. The student that is "student of the week" gets to go to speech class. This way, it is "cool" to be in speech class and the other students can help the students that stutter. Do you have any suggestions? Thanks! Julie Compton
