I enjoyed reading your post because it reminded me of a time when I was eleven and a girl from my class told me she was sorry I had a sister who was different. I told her I wasn't sorry, I loved my sister. I thought the comment itself was odd because of course my sister was different. We are all different and have our own strentghs and weaknesses. Only later did I realize she was referring to my sister's disability and the funny look she gave me finally made sense.
