I think David Shapiro's advice for young people who stutter is very helpful. I think much of what he says can also be used for people with other disorders and disabilities. I really like his analogy of the Sequoia trees holding each other up much like having a support group to help hold you up through rough times. I also like that he used many examples to show people who stutter that have accomplished great things in their lives. ps. I am a Cardinals fan!!
