Hi Eli, Thank you so much for taking the time to write to me. It makes me happy to get your letter because right now, I am in the Czech Republic, which is far, far away from my home in North Carolina. Ask your mom to show you on the map where the Czech Republic is and where North Carolina is. I am meeting the nicest people in the Czech Republic. Although I miss my family sometimes, I am happy because when I go home on Sunday, I know that I have made some new friends. You wrote a very beautiful letter. I can tell that you are very lucky because you have two best friends. Your friends are lucky too that you are their friend. I can tell also that you are mature because you realize how much strength we all gain from our families and how fortunate we are to have family. Not everyone knows that. I like to sled too. You know what? I live in the Smoky Mountains and my back yard is very steep. In the winter, we have the BEST sledding hill around. Everyone from our neighborhood comes to our house when it snows. Sometimes we have 30 people sledding on our hill at one time. Usually we keep hot dogs and hot chocolate in the house so people can come in and eat and get warm when they feel cold. We heat our house with firewood, so people sit by the fire to get warm too. If you lived near us, I would welcome you to sled on our hill. I like the feeling also when I am almost flying. I am glad that you know you can be anything you want to be, and can say anything you want to say. You can be a big help to other people who don't know that yet. I bet being a rancher would be a great career. If you become a rancher, would you teach me how to ride a horse? I need to go be bed now. It is 1:00 a.m. in the Czech Republic; it is only 7:00 p.m. yesterday in North Carolina. I bet your mom will have fun explaining that to you. You are welcome to contact me after this congress ends.
