Hi Laurie, I would probably not have used the word "awesome" to describe my paper, but I will take your compliment graciously! Yes, any infrastructure is usually much more complex than it initially appears, especially when we grow up with it. The components are influenced by what came first, who pushed what approach, where and when the money was spent, and so on. It's a bit like sausage: it looks and tastes good, but sometimes it's best not to know the ingredients. <smile> Seriously, I'm glad you found the graphics helpful. It was fun to try to conceptualize how we may have ended up where we are and how other countries are following similar and dissimilar paths. As an aside, this was my first project using a neat software program called Inspiration. You should give it a try sometime. I'm glad you found the article worth your time. Ken
