Hi Alison. Great that you're dealing with this topic too. My advise to SLPs would be to firstly try and build up a trusting relationship with the child, and bring up the topic of bullying in general, rather than asking directly if that child is a victim. They may feel better about opening up if they first think that the SLP understands bullying and knows what it is. Encourage them that they are not alone, that it isn't their fault, and that it CAN be stopped. I wish someone would have done that for me. All the best and good luck - Gina
