Dear Alan, Thank you for sharing this wonderful article. It is clear that your journey has been long and successful. As an SLP reading stories such as yours, I struggle to know how to approach my dysfluent students. Could you share your thoughts on how an SLP dealing with children can help guide students in their journey dealing with stuttering? Is it best to go with the wishes of the students whether or not they wish to go to therapy? To attempt to teach techniques, even if they do not choose to try them yet (or ever)? I would appriciate your advice. Thank You
