Hi Dennis, Thank you for an interesting paper. I'm sure that you have previously been posed the following (or a similar) question many times, but I'm going to repeat it, with my tongue firmly implanted within my cheek ;-). "If a 'stuttering gene' were to be identified tomorrow, is it possible to estimate how long it would take to convert that information to a practical use that would assist someone who stutters?". Are we talking of maybe 10, 20, 50 years, or is it similar to enquiring, "How long is a piece of string". I'm not trying to put you on the spot - I'm genuinely curious, yet (as a layman) totally ignorant of what is involved ;-) One further question - "Would identification of a particular gene benefit members of one particular family, specific groups, or PWS in general? Maybe that will attract a similar answer? ;-) Please forgive my enthusiastic ignorance. Kindest regards Alan
