Hi Michael, thanks for reading our article! Your question is very interesting, and also a difficult one. I’m not sure how I would have reacted if we had had the opportunity to use internet video conferencing, but I believe we would have written even a better piece. I think so because such technology would have enabled us to achieve better quality of communication (that include visual contact and sound) and thus better understanding. In that case, I would probably have been even more forthcoming in disclosing my feelings, because it’s a different thing when you can actually see and hear the other person, and get to know that person better. Of course, that’s my opinion; some people maybe wouldn’t feel so comfortable. I trusted Walt from the start and there were no problems in our interaction, so I am happy that everything turned out OK.
