As a 23 year-old stutterer, this is a method I have never used. It does seem backwards, but also worth trying. I work with the public as part of my job. I’ll try it at work and see what I think. I’ve never received a complaint from a customer based on involuntary stuttering; voluntary stuttering probably won’t make a difference.
