Mr. Reitzes, I greatly enjoyed reading your article and was drawn into its idea of focusing on stuttering as a positive and not a drawback. I am a little confused as to why referring to oneself as having a fluency problem would be considered a form of denial. Is this a matter of word choice, where the person who stutters might be more accepting if he or she referred to the problem as one of stuttering rather than fluency?
