What a great analogy. This can be used not only with parents, but also adults who have stuttered since childhood are still searching for a 'cause.' Clearly, not all factors need to be there for stuttering to occur. I see that a 'predisposition to stutter' is listed as one of those factors, however, would you say that a predisposition is one factor that needs to be present?
