Thank you for this article. I have been thinking about my future as an SLP and where I see myself in 5 or 10 years. I would like to hope that I am specialized in an area that interests me and right now that is in children with Downs Syndrome. I would like to know your thoughts on If the field of SLP should become more of a specialized field or are the number of disorders to great compared to the number of SLPs enter the field each year? Also, do you see specialized SLPs entering the school system more or are they found more in private clinics? Thank you. J. Worrall Minn. State - Mankato Undergrad
