Ross, Thank you for the question. In my view, if a clinician stutters openly then there is little need to disclose anything. If the clinician does not openly stutter, then I think they could benefit from telling the client about their own speech. This could work as a strong model and as you said, make the client feel comfortable to discuss and work on their speech.
