"Zebrowski (2008), using estimates from Asay and Lambert (2004), suggests that only 15% of change in any therapy may be due to technique". I found this information to be very eye-opening. It really hit home on how important it is for clinicians to know their client's motivations for seeking therapy. It is important, especially for new clinicians, to understand the importance of the therapeutic relationship. Thanks for the insight!!
