I love this analogy! I think that making connections like this really helps people get a better grasp and understanding of stuttering. In this way, not only do I think this is great to tell those who stutter but I think it helps those of us who don't. Did you find reading about others stuttering experiences to be helpful to your own therapy? Are there any other books that you would recommend for someone who is just entering the field of speech pathology and looking to work with individuals with fluency disorders?
