Thank you for sharing your story. I'm so glad that you managed to take the negative feelings out of stuttering, and have come to accept it as a gift. One thing that my fluency professor tells my class is that when a client comes in and says "I stutter really badly" you should respond with "No, actually you stutter really well". Attitudes and emotions have so much more influence over PWS than I ever previously thought. Do you have any advice on how to help a client look at their stuttering in a positive way instead of a negative way?
