Hello! I am a graduate student at Western Carolina University in the Communication Disorders Program. I enjoyed reading your article and was curious as to any suggestions you may have for helping younger children appreciate their increasing fluency as a gift. I know you mentioned it took years to come to terms with your stuttering and viewing your increased fluency as a gift. I was just wondering how I can help make that message contagious to younger children who have not had the chance to have the personal experiences you have had quite yet.
