John and Ryan, thanks so much for this important information. As an SLP who stutters, I have always been nauseated by the miracle cure advertisements out there. It's so nice that what I have always told students and clients, that this is a tool that can help some people be better communicators, and be a big, expensive disappointment for others, is actually backed up by research now. Now if I can just get everything else I say about stuttering backed up by research :-). Are studies to try to pinpoint subgroups of stutterers who will be more likely to be helped already under way? Thanks for your great work, here. Can I buy you guys a beer in Chicago?? Joe K.
