The article was very interesting. I am currently taking my first fluency course so many aspects of stuttering and current research is very new to me. Questions about the article: What were some of the negative comments that the participants had about using the SpeechEasy? Did they feel they were being stigmatized, how a person with a hearing aid might feel? Those that failed with the SpeechEasy, did they find success in traditional therapy or alternative forms of therapy (music therapy, etc)? Is the person able to wear the SpeechEasy during physical activities and/or at music concerts? What about those with stuttering blocks, did any of your participants have these, and would they benefit from the SpeechEasy? Did you find a decrease in secondary behaviors from the participants using the SpeechEasy? Have you received responses from stutterers who are really upset by this device because they only believe in traditional therapy?
