Thank you all for your interesting articles. I especially enjoyed Anits's closing line. But I also agree with some of you who think that stuttering is so much of part of you that you would not consider giving it up. The main theme seems to be that, with hindsight, a lot of stutterers can at least see the gifts that stuttering brings if not as a gift itself and this is probably where I think I fit best. My daughter(10) who is for the most part positive about her stuttering still sometimes struggles with the concept of stuttering as a gift. Do you have any views on what we as adults, whether stutterers, parents of stutterers or speech & language professionals, can do help young stutterers achieve the hindsight sooner than most of us did?
