Hi Jonas, Thank you for your interesting paper. You wrote: It is my belief then that developing or incorporating a support system must be included in any therapy for stuttering. Having attended a support group for many years, I wholeheartedly agree. The meetings enabled me to consolidate my new speech techniques in a thoroughly supportive environment without the feeling of being judged. There was a wonderful spirit of camaraderie that spurred everyone to challenge themselves in a variety of ways. Whilst at the groups, I took every opportunity to speak and make presentations. I became empowered and gained a tremendous degree of confidence and self-belief. It was such a wonderful feeling to be able to address an audience something I had always considered lay outside my scope. Jonas, keep creating and living your dreams. Thomas Edison wrote: "If we did all the things we are capable of doing, we would literally astound ourselves." Many PWS are discovering that his words were true. Kindest regards Alan
