Absolutely. Most participants are my clients. It is part of the whole process. It is sometimes easy to obtain a high degree of fluency in the therapy room, but not the real world. I always have them chart progress at home, progress in school etc. Success is decided upon by each client. It can range from increased confidence to feelings of empowerment to being more fluent with friends. It is all about communication and increased confidence. This also leads to increased fluency. Thanks for your comments and for asking.
