Thank you for this post. Yes, I have also seen people who are able to cover up stuttering through word avoidances, and other "tricks" in one language but not the other. That is why I suggest reading aloud (if the client is able to tackle this task) as an important task in assessing bilingual stuttering (as it is in any case of covert stuttering).
