Hi Katie, Thank you for your question. There have been some recent articles by Bothe (2008) and Einarsdóttir and Ingham (2005) which found that the reliability for this method is not high. I have found that reliability has been high within my own lab, and there is evidence that within groups who work together, reliability is high. So reliability is a concern. I do personally use disfluency analysis for school age children and adults, as it gives a more detailed picture of disfluency. Jean
