I really enjoyed reading this article. I'm an undergraduate student at Northern Michigan University currently taking a course on fluency disorders. We just recently learned about MIDVAS. While reading your article, it made me realize that MIDVAS has a big impact on a PWS. Reading that the King's Speech was hard for some PWS to watch surprised me. I thought that watching that movie brought out a great sense of desensitization and showed the world that even if you are a PWS, your stutter should never hold you back. I would never have thought that another PWS watching this movie would have felt negative feelings towards it. Thank you for pointing that out. It really opened up my eyes.
