Hi Dr. Rentschler, I am an SLP graduate student and we learned about the iceberg theory in class for overt stutterers with the 10% visible being the stuttering behaviors that others can see. I was wondering with covert stutterers, do they ever develop any secondary behaviors that could be noticed just based on all of the anxiety and stress of avoiding the stutter? Thanks!
