I was really surprised to see that such a small percentage of parents believed that their children were impacted socially, yet a much larger percentage believed their children were bullied at school? What do you think the reason is for this disparity? I also assumed that parents would consistently underestimate the impact of stuttering on their children, or at least be more concerned educationally. However, more parents felt their children were impacted socially than children. Why the over-protection?
