Using a parent/support group as part of treatment is an excellent approach! The more acceptance and understanding a kid has at home, the better, especially if kids are encouraged to speak freely whether or not they're fluent. If kids stutter more at home that's not necessarily a bad sign because that means the child feels free and accepted.
