The first thing i started doing was i accepted the fact that i'm a person who stutters and its ok to stutter. I started discussing about my stutter with people out in the open. I started educating them about stuttering. Most importantly what helped me desensitize most was Voluntary Stuttering where i used to stutter on purpose and notice the reactions of people. The reactions of people varied from being patient to disgust. This helped me a lot towards my journey to desensitization.
