He was born March 13, 1942. His real name was John Paul Larkin. John Larkin had a bad history of repeating what he said up to 6 times. He has a severe case of stuttering, causing a traumatizing childhood. Due to this stuttering, and his ways of being not so sociable, he ended up becoming withdrawn. He avoided communicating.

Then, he did the impossible. He started singing. This was a challenge he did to himself. Because of his stuttering, and his repeating symptom, it challenged him. Most, if not all stutterers avoid public, and avoid talking. And he started singing. He was always the kind to help others. He made 21st in the WORLD of best selling artist. He went to Japan, and sang "Su Su Su, Super Kirei" and later, after that song, Micheal Jackson wanted to work with him.

His career officially started when he was eight. As a jazz artist, he looked up to Louis Armstrong. Later, he met Louis, and worked with him. Grew up with jazz records of Ella Fitzgerald, Thelonious Monk, Dizzy Gillespie and John Coltrane. He later went to Germany with his wife to escape all the alcohol. He stayed there in Berlin, where he made I'm Free. In his song, he mentioned he ate something from there. His scatting is brilliant, and he does it in style, most of all. He does it with feeling. He makes you feel the song. Unlike others, the new generation just makes you feel good and want to dance. Scatman John makes you feel good, want to dance, and actually feel the music and his expression.

Later, he made an Interview. He stated that "In this Society, you can't always become what you want" and "Stuttering forced me to ask why, what, where, when, mommy why do I stutter, all the way up to mommy....why is there....war?" and "I had a traumatizing childhood because of my stuttering" Amazingly, he overcame it, and stood nice, instead of cold hearted. He found his ways out, and got married.

In his 1994-1995 career is when he struck his fame starting with I’m The Scatman. He really got into this, and made this his most famous song. People rumored it was Scatman Tribute. This is a true fact. I've experienced it, and looking at the views, it's pretty famous. He has a multitude of tributes for Scatman John. The creator of that video also added Scatman John's songs in ROBLOX, which today, stands at 11 million users. No denying, Fleskhjerta has truly helped Scatman John's fame from 2006 to now. For that, we thank you.

Later on his career, around his death pit, he sang Popstar. It truly touches your heart, as what he says in this song is true. "Someone's got to be the hero, someone's got to do the job. Someone's got to be the fool. Someone's got to be the hero. Someone's got to do the job. Someone's got to be the clown who's creating the sound that makes the world go round"
